Once you have set up the Certificate Records in FP2, you need to assign members to the Groups that are appropriate to their current training level, and any level they are training to reach. In this example, we'll set up a member who is training to reach the Exterior Operations level, but the system works the same way for Interior Operations or Team Leader levels.
Go to the individual's Personnel Record, open the Employment Tab, and in the Groups section on the General Sub-Tab, tick off the "Pre-Exterior" group:
There are a number of Mandatory Certificates attached to this Group, so the software will automatically begin tracking the member's progress towards certification (or re-certification).
