Welcome to FP2. FP2 is a Fire Department Record Management System designed to cover all aspects of Fire/EMS reporting, from logging and submitting call reports right through to attendance, training and compensation.
This manual is intended to be used when installing FP2 in a new location. We'll cover minimum requirements, user permissions, Server settings, remote connections, and the all-important backing up!
These instructions are intended to cover most common installation circumstances. There are always specific circumstances that will require a special bit of extra attention based on the needs of the individual departments or system set-ups. We'll work hard to make sure what you read here will provide you with the necessary knowledge to ensure FP2 will install correctly and run reliably on your hardware.
