FirePro Folder Connection

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The first time you login to FP2 after installation or conversion, you will be prompted to select a "Main FP2 Folder Path".

This is a centralized folder used to store the pictures and links you attach to your records, if you are not holding the links internally in the database.  All users will require access to this folder path, so you should either use a mapped drive location, or a local folder path that would be the same on all computers.

For Clients that are converting from FP2 Classic, this should be your old /Firepro folder.  Alternatively, you could use a newly created folder and copy the /Pictures and /Links folders from your old /Firepro folder to the new folder, in order to ensure that historical data to fully accessible in the new system.

For more information about Pictures and Links, please contact FP2.
