Depending on your O/S and physical architecture, a combination of configurations may work best for you.


For decentralized regions with an administration center, combining LAN-based configuration (for the administration building) and Internet-Based or Terminal Server configuration (for remote locations) often provides good performance for all users.


For small departments that require access to the FP2 system from multiple locations, but not simultaneous access (working from home, for example), a Single-user configuration combined with commercial remote login applications like GotomyPC can provide good, cost-effective performance.
