Inspection Order Wording

Return to chapter overview

Summary

Inspection Order wording has been set mainly by the OFM but is editable to allow for future changes.

There are three sub tabs:

'Notice Wording':

These default to the English and French versions of the right to appeal the order.

'Order Wording':

We can manually set defaults in the event that the inspector is using Clause G.  Although this wording is also fairly standard, it can be edited if required.

The Clause G reason and action both belong on the order while the appendix bottom wording will print on the contraventions page.

'Compliance Wording':

The department can define wording for 'Satisfactory', 'Unsatisfactory' or 'Rescinded' inspection status.
